The Law of Attraction versus Co-Creation

so one topic that's sort of on the radar for lots of people for many years is you know i always forget the name of it i swear i i cause it it could be like laws abundance and prosperity and these things but um i rarely name a specific thing and i won't name a teacher or teaching or book title in this case and most of the time i don't but there is a thing out there the law of attraction that a lot of people are into and i'm going to name it specifically just so it's clear i guess but that type of work

which is not owned copyrighted by anybody it's a thing it's a concept the laws of abundance the law of attraction it's just another phrase so nobody owns it but those who practice things along those lines clearly the world and the spiritual community is better from that work i believe that because they're more into responsible manifestation and you can't go wrong with that almost can't go wrong with that where we can go wrong is that we we can say gosh i'm getting better at manifesting

that's cool very cool um manifesting what and from where well from my mind i'm now manifesting more stuff okay there is no stuff it's an illusion so if you're learning to manifest more stuff you're becoming better at nothing if you think about it then your ability to manifest more nothing means you've gotten nowhere and i know this sounds a little strange but bear with me if you don't do it with god then you haven't done anything and i'm not trying to sound like a fundamental you know christian or

fundamental baptist or anything like that i'm just saying god is the source there's a saying in religious science in some communities god is the source and we are the resource but god is the source so if if nature itself would only run on its own reserves it would not be able to continue and it looks like it does it looks like it perpetuates itself but it doesn't because if there weren't a life force underneath creating more of this and that everything would expire within one generation at best it could be shortened for that

matter so everything has to come back to where am i creating from and what in me is creating and if you say me my mind then you're off again you're doing better seemingly than people who don't know how to do responsible manifestation but you're still just better in the illusion of life you look better you seem better and so on but you're not really better so what we need to do is remind ourselves god first in all things i am god says the alpha and the omega and that means if you allow me to be the

source of your creation i'll be there in the manifestation allow me to be here in the source of it i'll be there at the end of it you know what that means that it will be good and god said let there be light and saw that it was good what we do in the law of manifestation for some people and the laws of abundance and a lot of you know all these various same thing but various terminology for it what a lot of us are doing then if we practice that is you know and i get i counsel people obviously and i hear people bring this

up in workshops and they'll say but the law of attraction says the law of abundance says and they're they're saying i can do this i can and i'm saying wait i the little i that i am not the ego i doesn't create it makes believe in the illusion of life it makes believe now course in miracles students will very much understand what i'm saying but that's why it's nice to have a little a little bit of a one root into that material because it helps feed the overall consciousness of many things

i'm sharing and if you like what i'm sharing then that helps but the main point again is god helps us make it a co-creation and if it's sourced in god i can imagine god will be there at the end what happens with other folks that are trying to say i which is the ego i the ego i made something happen will typically mean it doesn't necessarily end in light let there be light saw that it was good becomes i want and it didn't go well the co-creation with god it could be things include things like it's time to create

a partnership it's time to create um a greater prosperity but what we do is we remember the humility rather than the rising up okay i'm going to create instead there's a humility here i am god and i'm ready for new creations fill me up and we've been talking about a little bit the past few weeks saturn the planet the symbol and it's kind of interesting because when you think about it saturn and many of its derivatives um entities other names by other names they're they're almost like they're

created it's almost like even even if saturn looks to be a planet that can test us which is fantastic um we don't always like that but it tests us to help clear us you know like the dark night of the soul that some of us go through that everybody goes through but some of us are going through now even um it's it's a test period to clean us up so even though there's a there's something there that ignited ego in us once upon a time you know we we chose to allow ego to be ignited now we're actually after all is said and

done we will be better for it once we recognize i have grown by recognizing ego for what it is and not choosing it anymore i choose not to compete i choose not to judge not to hate you know and so forth i choose not to come from an insecure self because the real me can't be insecure because it's one with god so some of the laws of dot dot attraction and all that would imply you are god well the teacher telling you that is actually not in touch with god and the person hearing that is not in touch with god and the person

re repeating it back is not in touch with god because as soon as you forget the source god and go to you as god you're tempting yourself to evoke or or rise a ego god within and and that's where we become spiritual tyrants for lack of a better phrase we become just spiritual tyrants i want i want i can do this i'm going to manifest this i can do anything and i know guys and i mean no harm with this that some of you you know you have your checklists you know and there's a place for that if you can say god here's

where i'm at with things but i choose to only create this which is in alignment with the light your light as your light beams onto my little checklist of things i would like to manifest in my life i only want manifested the things that are congruent with your light my being and in alignment kind of like just testing it all the way down god's light shining onto my you know my heart and soul as i write my list let god help you write your list let god inspire you don't just write your list and say well god let god inspire you i tell this

to psychics as when i'm training readers and psychics remember and students for that matter of this material i say please remember don't just ask god for guidance which is what we do which is better than nothing because a lot of readers if you go to them you'll not hear a prayer will you a lot of healers how many chiropractors do you know say let's take a moment to surrender this adjustment to god this massage to god most of the time you don't because people have forgotten the role the the absolute role of god

that's one of those beautiful things about the israelites is that throughout this history of these people is that they kept trying to say don't forget god and when they themselves as a culture forgot god they ended up paying dearly because they knew so strongly not to they their own conscience put them in captivity for generations sometimes punishing themselves and it isn't god punishing as people might imply and that's the same that happens to us the more spiritual you and i are the more evolved the less we let ourselves get

away with you know crap and settling and misbehaving so to speak um so that's why i say be clear be clean you let l i say to the readers ask god even to help you formulate your question not just to give you your answer because if you don't let god help you inspire inspire you to formulate your question when you do readings then you're saying i don't need you on that i'll tell you what i want and try to get your answer to fit within my range you see man it's so cool god in all things so the humility god i don't know

there's a course in miracles quote i've forgotten what to ask so show me because i'm thinking you know god i want a partner god i want this god i want you know whatever it happens to be a new car a job whatever but wait i don't know another quote from a course in miracles i do not know my own best interests now the people in the law of manifestation of its various names they're going to be like no that's a terrible thing to say your god you're right you're always right just go go go push push bush

and those folks that are into that and thank god there's a lot of people into it because because there's a lot of people that don't know about responsible manifestation so i think it's better than nothing um but after a while guys be careful to watch for the the spiritual tyrant that's still making a little checklist of god um here's what i want make it happen or not even talking to god i want this and according to this material i'm allowed to get it just because i'm god yes you're made in the image of

god yes in the big picture you are god one with god part of god in god's image and so on so yes you could extrapolate you are god out of all that but it's not a good thing to do until you're totally clear about all this ego stuff because ego will help us slip the ego will slip in there and sort of twist the truth of what we're trying to say so these laws of be careful go to the law the only real law is the law of god god's the only thing real and so even when we're doing little manifestation things you're actually

only ramping up the illusion i've taken my life to a higher level of illusion better that's better than nothing good job but do you ever want to get out of the illusion and say i'm going to let god help me decide what i'm going to manifest this year that's why in my january every january guys we do the co-creating a new life and it's called co-creating i didn't call my january class how to make things happen for you it's co-creating a new life and that's the whole secret to it man

how to get in the zone practice getting in the zone what would you have me do and then you realize god this is efficient i ask what would you have me do and certain things will fall into place without even without my effort and i'm allowed to say you know if i slot myself into some morning prayer and forgiveness it already clears my mind more and allows more things to manifest for me so all of a sudden i just practice love forgiveness service to people service humility and i notice wow things just seem to happen better for me

things just you know they seem to flow a bit better you know my life is blessed in that sense i'm so grateful that so many things are beautiful and yet there's still challenges i feel the saturn things i sometimes run into the mercury retrograde things whatever you know like anybody if you drop a brick on my foot i'll probably say ouch instead of um you know it happens but you'll know as i've said so many hundreds of times over the last many years you'll know your spiritual growth by by how quickly you catch yourself and

bounce back not by how much stuff you manifested look at me i not only manifested a new this i got that which is even better than now i have two of them and each one that i start to manifest is more expensive than the last one that's not the beauty of it or and i do know people that'll say okay michael i'm having trouble i'm using the love manifestation the law of attraction and i took this concept and i put it to use and i wrote some things down and i specified i want a new person in my life they're supposed to have four and one

half freckles on their nose and they're supposed to have eyelashes that are exactly looking like this eyes exactly such and color because there are no limits and they'll try that on me because michael you know the rules and the laws according to the you know the laws of the universe there are no limits so i believe i can manifest anything and i'm supposed to go okay and i tr you know i do i say good yeah i get you but when you're creating with god versus co-creating with god versus manipulating

or making up one way you'll know the difference is how attached you become to the thing you're looking for and i've had people say michael i i'm trying to manifest a new job and this job i'm just making up numbers okay i don't know what people are paid per hour and all that i don't know if i've even had an hourly job before i'm sure i did somewhere when i was a kid but you know somewhere in there somebody might say and i i manif i want to manifest 25 an hour and this perfect job came and it was

everything that my heart always wanted but they're only paying 20 or 22 or whatever you know so um i said no and i'm like what uh it didn't fit one piece of their tyrannical little matrix their tyrannical little blueprint i want i want i say that too yes i would like to manifest this and i desire that's fine but you got to stay open got to stay open-minded so this or something better and the problem is when you're in your wrong mind of ego you won't know what is something better so please guys be

careful i recommend that you learn more about co-creating with god now i you don't have to there's not like a a book i've written on it to sell you um let me just say this if you say i i get it michael i would like that how do we do it what do we do next there's no book i'm selling like i said so what do i do my january course is not necessarily around the corner for me to say please try it um yes in january put it on your note you know your calendar in december sign up for it but in the meantime what do you do

fairly simple go ahead and keep doing your manifestation your law of attraction do keep doing that but just add god into the equation just remember humility in the equation instead of okay i'm now centering and i'm manifesting i want this and this and this i'm desiring this and this i'm creating this whatever instead pause god here i am i don't know exactly what to ask i think you can say this i think i think i need a new car i think i'm ready for a relationship and i'm open show me guide me

what's the right thing for me right now and the first thing you should watch for is not stuff and specific messages but a feeling because god's gonna say the first thing i want for you is peace peace and love and you go oh my god i'm feeling peace and love i'm seeing colors and symbols and so it's like amazing and you sometimes you'll just get up going i'm good this peace and love filled me so much i don't even feel the need to continue with any further prayer or manifestation and that's cool

but then i would say now you're in danger of becoming a monk i just commune with god i don't need food or anything yes i've lost 190 pounds and i'm only 20 pounds now and about to die but i'm good with it you'll just come back you know as a skinny person trying to learn to gain weight again so um you know whatever lessons are related to that so no instead guys you don't need to be a monk but you don't need to be the spiritual tyrant so do the monk thing you could say and connect and commune and fill

fill god's presence not literally a monk thing it's for you it's your presence it's god it's your gift then now that i feel that presence watch this carefully the things i'm going to create i'm only open to things that are congruent with that feeling peace and love or as many of my students know i recommend love and self-worth love and self-worth peace and love whatever your words are joy and abundance any two words you sit in that and let that imagine that light just shining down on you

now you know if you were if you were holding a bunch of different flowers roses and lavender and went oh my god look this amazing scent and you said i would like to manifest one more cent you probably wouldn't bring in something pungent something that ruins the whole experience it would not be congruent to fragrant it's the same love peace self-worth joy and then you just sit with it and go what kind of relationship would peace create not what do i want pete what would peace choose what would peace look like in a relationship what would

real love look like not romantic i need i need any i want i want you know all that stuff i know we feel the feelings but it's beautiful just to stay out of the mess of i i need this specific thing you're going to have that come up as a human being but michael what about i want somebody that likes affection in my own self my own being i don't sit around doing much of that but i do have a general idea every january i sit with the students and do my own two and say what am i where am i going this year but i

can't put anything on my list that doesn't feel congruent with spirit not with what i want with love with peace and yes okay all of a sudden oh my god this year we're going to start doing live work because it fits okay if it doesn't fit won't do it and there's times when i i got to say like the mastery class or that we just did or whatever there's there are times when i feel so alive man so plugged in that i want to hug everyone i mean i just feel so alive and so people that are congruent with that

that love to hug oh my god we just hug like like you know best friends and so forth it's just so beautiful and it should feel like that your car you the way you raise your kids what book you bought you know that you want to read everything should feel exciting it should feel invigorating it should resonate with that feeling of peace and love there should be this constant congruent i'm in this column of light that's also described as a feeling and i come from that place and i go to that place and i live from

that place and what i choose to come into my life resonates with that place that's how to co-create so just add that little bit of extra if you still want to use the other techniques it's great but just add that extra piece of divine feeling as your guide instead of i this and that and the other because i really feel sorry for folks that in classes and sessions and so on um or that you know write in or post things on youtube and say but what about and and you can hear the heartbreak but but i wanted 25 not 22

and that's just using a flippant example what's really heartbreaking is when people lose good things from their lives because they're you know uh um they're they're feeling like something's wrong with uh two dollars less not if you're feeling blessed out you know if you're i'd rather have a job at 22 dollars an hour 20 whatever blissfully than one that's higher paying so follow your bliss follow your bliss not the dollar signs and that with relationships create someone that's

loving and forgiving bottom line think in terms of spiritually mature spiritually psychologically financially emotionally i would rather have mature in all these areas then they got to be hot they've got to look like an actress or actor they've got to be you know hard body or whatever you know all that stuff gosh you know i mean i know those are attractive to eyes i'm not the type to like have my eyes sort of do that to me as yogi's say your senses lie to you so don't even bother but go for a feeling i really love any

of you you know i love people that are wanting to grow so there's already a love and respect and then i love folks that i can trust to be friends you know or share shared talk feedback um share a personal dialogue share affection i mean i love that and in this world that's challenge too so what are you going to do you i want to manifest this that and the other i i just learned to as much as i can be that presence and then i find that people come to me you know and and on a monday it was great because let's i'm just

making this up days and all that on monday um i created more abundance it came to me because of the column of light i'm living in on tuesday someone shared a wonderful hug that was so beautiful but i don't get attached to those things oh wow a good hug will you marry me instead it's like it's just beautiful and i can't tell you how much i appreciate the prosperity that came today the hug that came the next day the uh the idea that it was inspired to write a book the next day or whatever you're living in this column

of creation but it's god inspired rather than i the ego i inspired so i i pray this has given you something to consider something to add positive to your life maybe even clearing up some some other things that maybe were confusing or not helpful i do hope that this has done so you
