“The Heart of A Course in Miracles” by Michael Mirdad

I started studying a course in miracles' around the time that initially came out to the world and I found a course in miracles' to be more than just another book more than just more material that one could study I found that a course in miracles' was actually an expression of Christ consciousness and Christ as consciousness is a topic and a theme that had been dear to me all my life so it came to pass that eventually I wrote a book now related to a Course in Miracles it's called the heart of A

Course in Miracles and the reason I called it that is because I realized that for so long book after book that came out related to the course was very heady it was very much related to interpreting the course or even arguing interpretations of A Course in Miracles and none of that really appealed to me so I realized it's time for something different and without really consciously planning it something happened one night when I was asleep I had this interesting vision and I'm not going to go into it in vivid detail because it's not what

I'm trying to promote it's not what I'm trying to say to the world as Wow I had a vision a lot of people have that and and use that as part of their promotion it's just not what I'm looking for but I will say this much in this vision I was holding a disc and this disc had certain geometric symbols on it and when I was looking at the disc it seemed like it was downloading ideas to me and at first I just looked at them to be a concepts or ideas and themes they were really beautiful really powerful really

interesting so I was like wow this is just deep so I thought I should probably write some of these down or I'll forget them but they were just a few themes a few paragraphs so I thought okay I'll go write them down and next thing I knew I went to write them down I thought I'd better just type them into a Word document and I don't really type other than with two fingers so I did my best and I typed those in but I realized that more kept coming so it's as though being in the presence of this disc and it's

not the disc it's just really a symbol so I don't want to get overly focused on the disc but it's as though it became they say that the symbol is worth a thousand words and it's like that that symbol itself became in a one picture worth a thousand words it became something that could download information to me so it was just it continued as even as I woke up and I was typing it just continued so before I knew it morning finally came and the basic layout of the book was done and all in that one morning I did continue

to add to it and of course it needed editing and so forth but all of this happened quite quickly so if I may share with you just briefly this book ended up having three parts the first part is explaining all about some of the pieces that I couldn't put in the later book it didn't fit in but all about A Course in Miracles and its origins that people forgot a lot of folks think it's just sort of a clinical spiritual book when in fact it's got all this deep rich history so why are we leaving that out I

thought well it's a metaphysical book it's not it's not supposed to be so clinical or psychological although it is including that people forgot that in that material there's an Origin deeper and that's that of Christ consciousness so I decided to share that the woman who received a Course in Miracles also was someone who was receiving channeling essentially that that woman also had past lives with Jesus himself he tells her that and it was thought for some reason to be better to edit such things

up it's not unlike the editing of the Bible sadly and strangely enough the editing of the Bible very much recurs again with the editing of A Course in Miracles mind you the material that comes out is fantastic it's beautiful one of the best books ever written most important books ever written however there's more that was there and cut out so I decided to share some of that some of the ideas some of the themes that were removed and so that includes some of the metaphysical history some of the past live connections between Helen who

wrote the core scribed the course and Jesus and so on things though that we can all relate to and should all be able to relate to so the first part of the book also though goes into prayer meditation the how to's and so forth that are really in the course but simplifying them another simple theme in the course that's easily forgotten is this if you read A Course in Miracles a lot of Course in Miracles students say to me in lectures that I've done for over 30 years they say but the course talks about the Holy Spirit God

the Father Jesus and so on so who you're supposed to be praying to after all and what are you supposed to be praying for a miracle a holy instant the atonement and so on and so on and I just tend to say this it doesn't matter the bottom line is any time you're praying for to heal something inside something that is not the presence of God the word for it doesn't matter the atonement miracle holy instant so on and then who you pray to the Holy Spirit Jesus they all pretty much just see see each other that's all

don't worry about it they all see see each other so if you pray to Jesus Jesus will let the Holy Spirit know pray to the Holy Spirit the Holy the Holy Spirit will take care of it and copy everyone and I say that and in certainly to some people it sounds irreverent it's actually deeply reverent to say this to help people understand don't sweat it we're not supposed to be sweating a relationship with God it's supposed to be easy and we should be able to laugh at ourselves a bit now on another note

that first part really captures a lot of pieces but the second part of the book is really where we go into the subtitle of the book is related to the 12 concepts of A Course in Miracles so the second part of the book is covering the 12 main concepts in the course you will not be able to look in the course and have it say here are the 12 main concepts these had to be extrapolated because partly because of the way it's edited but also it was a bit of my own decision so it feels guided as a decision but certainly course purists

could argue that there's not 12 concepts there's 14 or 18 or 3 whatever they decide to believe in but I did look into it and decided to focus on 12 main concepts concepts that seem in in they're all paired so they might be like reality and illusion oneness separation there are things that are paired like that because they seem a pose there's nothing really opposing the one side of the list or chart which is God but they seem a post and so they not only are set out in pairs for the reader and for the student but they're also

shared in a fashion that are seemingly progressive or digressive meaning we start in oneness with God and we move on down to separation and from separation it begins everything from judgment guilt shame down and down the list we go until it finally concludes strangely enough and beautifully enough in holy relationships verses special relationships so it all starts in the highest of heavens oneness with God and it digresses or descends all the way down to us believing that were mere mortal human beings having relationships

and the course is trying to explain that no matter how far you fall so to speak down the chart its first of all just a dream we're not really digressing it just seems like it but no matter how far we fall down the chart down the list of digressions at any moment we could choose again and begin the progression back into God we could have done this in the beginning of time we could do it today and in fact we need to do it today so in choose for example instead of choosing judgment we would choose forgiveness and when we get

all the way down the list holy relationships verses special if we choose co-dependent relationships we're continuing the digression all the way to its worst form hatred separation argument and so on but if we turn it around by using the proper side of the chart or list we revert to or refer ourselves back to holy relationships we slip back into what God intended us to experience so holy relationships become the cure to the whole digression it's amazing because our origins of falling start with our relationship with God in

our descent or separation from God or our seeming separation and notice that's a relationship when we get to the bottom of the list were just back to the beginning in a sense because we're back to our relationship with our cell and each other so that's why it's so emphasized so strongly emphasized in A Course in Miracles heal your relationship with yourself and others and you are by default healing the original faulted relationship the separated relationship the one we have with God the third part of the material

the third part of the book is very deep very profound beautiful but it also brings everything else together and so the third part of the book explains just like the ending of the text in A Course in Miracles notice and it's not an accident it ends with revelation it ends with our awakening that's there's a reason for that all that text was building towards that one point our awakening and the word revelation means for God to again be revealed to us for us to again see the presence of God and experience the presence of God so when

we get to the third part of the book I actually do a bit of a comparative between A Course in Miracles and the book of Revelation in the Bible because even though a lot of people interpret that to be dark material in the Bible it's really saying the same thing but interpreted because the course tells us that revelations are highly individualized they're not going to be the same for everyone because each of us as we're being awakened and we see God again and it's the veils are thinning out our own stuff is in the way so each

of our own processes and moments of awakening are slightly different sometimes majorly different so the book ends with that coming together how we have again our experience with God and I do a comparative showing how the book of Revelation was basically saying when you're going to awaken and you start dedicating yourself to the path certain things are going to happen I'm not going to detail them all here but certain things are going to happen generally speaking you will have to learn to take a self inventory you'll notice that this

summary I'm giving is going to sound very similar to the the gist of Buddhism as well as 12-step programs you cannot have an awakening without having an honest self inventory and that's how the book of Revelation begins what the letter to the seven churches but it's also what of course caracals is telling us we have to do and in brief we go through this self evaluation self inventory and then we start having awakenings we start getting in touch with who we really are but who we are not has to fall away so there's

the process of the old falling away the new being born we sort of evolve ourselves if I were using metaphysical terminology or symbolism we evolve ourselves from our lower chakras up to the heart and that's where we're sort of living back in the the real world as of course in miracles' calls it or our right mind the fallen self lives in the lower few chakras only I'm not shaming or wronging the lower chakras I'm saying they symbolize our fallen self if not brought back into the light and

alignment with God by themselves they symbolize our state of separation but as we awaken from our wrong mindedness judgmental thinking separative thinking we awaken and we come back to the heart in the heart we awaken in a sense the Christ self and we're here and we're there you know awakened and we're starting to experience miracles and we're starting to to see revelations and oneness with God connections moments of channeling all these great things start to happen but we're not home yet we're

only shifting from the illusionary world of the lower chakras to the real world which is Eden it's also known as Eden in the heart chakra and then it says in the course and in the Bible God takes the last step at this point we can only evolve ourselves so far so high and that's the heart center the rest has to be the ultimate humility Here I am and that's the statement of the Divine Feminine we can't fully birth the Christ self without bringing in the Divine Feminine first because you take it needs

a Mary to give birth to of Jesus and that's metaphor mind you but it takes the Divine Feminine to give birth to the Christ self and when I say Christ let's be careful to not turn people off that are maybe scarred by old religion and such the word Christ the main Christ the term cry simply means the divine self so for that divine self to be born again from the human self to the divine we really use the Divine Feminine also known as the holy spirit in the course so the Divine Feminine becomes our ultimate guide we open ourselves up

to the holy spirit we let our old self go and at some point it says it's God that reaches down and takes the last step God reaches down into Eden and lifts us back in to heaven itself where we shift from the real world lowercase R of Eden into heaven itself and that's how it all comes to a close and it's detailed and outlined in the book the heart of A Course in Miracles I think beautifully so but what would be amazing is for other folks to read that and start having their own revelations because that then starts to describe not

a book and material it starts to describe experience and their own sense of returning to oneness with God so I pray that you'll enjoy the book I think you will and do what you can to spread the word about the book because what's happening is that this material is announcing to the world the old version of A Course in Miracles interpretation the old style of interpreting of Course in Miracles is fading away still has had a value and especially for those who have enjoyed such but we're now moving from analyzing interpretive versions of

A Course in Miracles rather to experiencing and feeling the experience of A Course in Miracles and I'll close with this because one of the quotes I wrote in A Course in Miracles one of my own notes and of course in miracles' my book on the heart of A Course in Miracles seems to have been enjoyed by a lot of people one person in particular my friend Alan Cohen and he's been out there using this quote a lot from the book and he says he really loves Michael Moore dad cheering the following and that is that as soon as you begin

analyzing a Course in Miracles or any other material technically you're once again crucifying the Christ and that means a lot of things it's a very deep concept every time you kick your head into gear and not be in that state of feeling and receptivity for God itself to guide you you are once again crucifying the Christ the Christ within yourself so I pray that you understand that heart of A Course in Miracles is an attempt to bring everything back and allow ourselves to re-experience who we really are
