Being Born Again

well we uh i love i love the christmas season i mean i'm so into christy stuff anyway you know so it's just kind of right up my alley but i uh i love the holiday season i love what it symbolizes all of the levels of symbolism i don't want to do a talk about the holidays per se people are watching this throughout the year and i want it to be relevant but i brought a couple of quotes this time i want to share usually i just kind of go off of the off the cuff but but i brought a couple of quotes that i want

to play off of because the concept of of christmas if that's what we were going to focus on is is it's about the birthing of the christ but it's about the birthing of the christ at the first level sort of like when you and i make a commitment to our spiritual path that's to a degree that's almost like our own little mini christmas it's a birthing of a self a new self but there's something different about christmas versus say easter christmas is the birthing but easter is the integration of it

you can birth the spiritual self everybody does and that's when you go wow i started reading a book on spirituality i'm a new person it's just talk it's just talk easter is when we'll find out if you really birthed it because you got to be crucified to find out if you're really living it making sense so to a degree as i've said many times about the holidays to a degree past present future supposed to be born so that's the past so in halloween we're supposed to be healing the past

thanksgiving giving thanks in the present christmas is supposed to be the gifts that take me into a new life the more you know this the more you can kind of walk through it like ceremony ritual people that truly understand ceremony realize like you know if you look into the the dogan people of of eastern africa these are interesting folks because they do a dance if you were sitting there you go oh isn't that nice dancing and they're twirling and whatever it just looks like a dance this is the same for music dance and

other things in this world people learn to unlearn the spirituality of it they just started doing things by rote they just dance they don't feel and dance they just dance from the head from the whatever the dogan people are dancing and they're spinning and the native american people they're doing a dance you just think oh that's interesting up in in alaska a tribe of people they're doing this movement in there you know and one of the things they do is they they reach forward there's a glove

waiting for them they put their hand in a glove and and it's like oh that was an interesting part of the dance it's it's not what that meant was i enter the material world and i leave the material world all of this is symbolic and when the dogan people are moving in circles they were replicating the movement of sirius the stars serious that weren't even available to the naked eye till our lifetime yet they've been doing it for hundreds and hundreds of years so ceremony real ceremony is you're

embodying it before jesus there was a birth of the sun every year so the pagans were doing that but spirit was saying now that you have had thousands hundreds of thousands of years of living your ceremony symbolically outside isn't this great that the sun is coming back you kept thinking it's about stars and planets which was fine for people that wanted to keep god at a distance now when jesus comes forward and he does the i'm going to be the son of god i'm going to be osiris i'm going to be horus i'm going to be

the embodiment of thor or whatever god goddess archetype it would be so something unique was happening when someone said i'm not going to come and talk about it i'm going to be it i'm going to live the principles completely i'm not going to philosophize about them nor no which is nice nor theorize about them i'm going to come and embody it when when the sun gets crucified each year i'm going to be the crucifixion when the sun comes back into the hemisphere each year i'm going to be the

resurrection that's a that's an incredibly huge thing to embody but you and i in our own microcosmic way do that when jesus says you have your cross to bear he's talking about you have your illusions to deal with and your illusions are different than mine mine different from yours and so on you each have your cross to bear now fundamental emphasis on the mental uh fundamental religions they take things so seriously you have your cross to bear it means you're supposed to remain depressed oh the lord died for my sins you know

and live like that jesus is like what how did you miss this i was only dead for three days i've resurrected for 2 000 years i'm alive that's why religion is in a sense so dead why you have brahmin priests that kept that tradition alive but then people that follow shiva are saying you're so serious you know stories of shiva entering communities usually naked stirred things up the priests are like this is terrible get rid of him let's get rid of him let's kill him even when they realize he's a god they had to repent and say

we're sorry we didn't realize you were a god shiva's point is i will destroy your belief systems you get too stuck on religion you get too stuck on letter of the law jesus says the same thing and they treated him like they treated shiva or the way in greek mythology they treat dionises they're shunned because they are a symbol of what you're doing has gone a bit too far you're taking things letter of the law too serious come on shake it up a little bit you know dance jesus's example of jesus how do we know

that we're close to entering the kingdom of heaven he said you know you've heard me say it's when you can be like a one-year-old or whatever who takes off his clothes and a party and tramples on the clothes and laughs at them and just dances now again i've said this but i'm not asking you to do that and please don't all right not here start rumors man about sedona you know but so it's it's uh it's the freedom but this this isn't just what i would want to represent to you you need to

lighten up and i'm going to show you i got to lighten up and show you what it's like this is i have to do this for me and you have to do it for you loosen up lighten up where are you still so constricted around judgments of yourself so the dark night of the soul is something we all go through sometimes many versions sometimes grand huge versions but the dark night of the soul is definitely a symbolic crucifixion everybody will go through the dark night of the soul but not everybody resurrects most of us just die

in the dark night most of us just become helpless hopeless wounded so the dark knight of the soul is only half of the story there's the other half which is called and reaching the light at the end of the tunnel so the dark night of the soul is not just darkness it's got two parts dark night resurrection crucifixion resurrection old life and patterns addictions new life that's what it's supposed to look like so christmas time and new year's is about the new life i hope you all heard me the last several

weeks and died well i hope you took time during previous holidays to die well get the skeletons out of the closet i i mean i can watch a movie i can watch a christmas carol and put myself in there and start processing by seeing what scrooge is going through you see i do that um there was the one fx channel the one they made that's like a few hours long it's the most modern version of them the christmas carol i saw a little bit of that last night it was until about midnight and uh that's a deep one man

but right like wow now we're talking about how scrooge was abused in the orphanage that he was stuck in it's giving family background it's giving deep deep stuff you know and i'm like watching that and there's parts that i'm watching that i'm identifying with you watch you connect to it you bridge to these things whether it's a story of mythology a movie whatever even it's a story from somebody else's life i'm not saying you're so narcissistic that you make everything about you i'm saying you

allow yourself to be connected to everything so jesus resurrects you can worship the guy or you can start resurrecting because if jesus had a choice if you interviewed him and said we're gonna we're gonna give you a multiple choice question jesus do you want us to worship you or be you i promise you he'll say be i promise the worshipping is worthless it's a good start better than doing nothing better than not seeing goodness in another person and admiring it's a better but of a and b b step into what you've learned from this

person you might say i'm i'm not really into jesus but i really think he's a wonderful guy he did wonderful things start doing those things you see do your best to step up and we all do our best you know we think we do our best to step up but have you done inventory lately to see where you might you know set up some improvements so the dark knight of the soul is a crucifixion reaching the light at the end of the tunnel clearly is a is a resurrection our job is to emerge emerge from the previous ones this is

akin to being born again some people say being born again means you accept jesus as your savior no that's not actually it if you're still a jerk like you were last year you were not born again oh yes i am because i accepted jesus as my personal savior this becomes a speech from fundamentalists you know you meet them and they say so and you're going oh god here it comes i'm just trying to buy frosted flakes dude i'm just in line i'm just at the store i didn't want a conversation about

how i need to convert well have you accepted jesus christ as your personal savior here's how you should answer that no i'm willing to share him with you too pretty cool huh right i accept him as my personal say no i'm willing to share him so that's a good comeback anyway it is that's not what born again means born again basically means and it's there's a couple of levels but one level is my old wounds and addictions i'm letting go of and i'm a different person that's a beginning level

another level is not just wounds and addictions but my patterns of behavior you really are you ready to go with that one can you go that far and let go of patterns not just the memories of wounds in the distant past and not just addictions you picked up can you let go of deeper patterns very cool but you haven't heard me describe filling up yet that's still letting go of the old you're not born again unless the old is going and the new is coming in you need both parts born again it didn't just say die again

there where's the born if you're only still working on the wounds work the wounds and bounce back come back into a new life here are a few quotes along those lines and i also want to mention that there are ways that this born-again concept where we sabotage it you can say man i'm born again christian or i'm a boarding again whatever you know i'm a boarding good soul i'm i'm entering the world of self-healing nice but you got to watch because past patterns will come knocking whether you call it temptations or

patterns or programs they're going to come back you're going to have past patterns you're going to have present judgments and you're going to have fears of the future those three things past present future are still going to try to have their way with you the past programs your current judgments and your fears of the future they're going to try to sabotage all your attempts to be born again and live a different life a few quotes truly i tell you unless a person is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of

heaven now what jesus is saying there is that when we're born again you start becoming guided by god see we hear traditional words unless you're born again you can't enter the kingdom of heaven the kingdom of heaven means the consciousness of god what does it mean think about it all it means is my old addictive broken self can't inherit the consciousness of god i've got to start saying goodbye to this making room for the new and the new is the consciousness of god you know great visual you've seen

pictures whether you remember it or not of krishna you know on the chariot with four horses the four horses are your four lower chakras your human nature you've got to step into the divine self and not have those things telling you what to do pulling at you your physical self and its senses emotional self intellectuals all this human stuff they need to be the horses that you're driving as it were being born again refers not to the corruptable seed or that's like genetics but to the incorruptible the word of god or christ consciousness

or presence which is real and lives forever so this is telling us that being born again is not of genetics you can't say well i wish i could be born again i wish i could be a more spiritual alive person but my genetics this is not of material genetics this is not of chemistry when you're remembering who you are you're entering the world of the supernatural which means miracles so suddenly even though your family genetics and your family programs pull at you you feel free of them you don't you don't

you know you don't act and react the way they did i remember things i did as a kid and that i recognized god that's just like mom or dad but i don't feel like them years later i didn't feel like them at all and i clearly wasn't like them at all because you're being born again you're not being born of genetics you're being born of spirit we think it's phenomenal that jesus might have been parented by the holy spirit you know like literally sired or impregnated by the holy spirit

that's what happens to you when you surrender your life i am not in charge of my addiction i'm calling on another power that means you're saying i want my programs patterns even my cells and even my neurons to not be my old ones that were given to me my by my family i want new ones you're allowed to do that and something phenomenal happens the holy spirit starts saying i now am your mother and your father and you can say but my mom did this i know honey and my dad did i know honey and they didn't do this i know sweetheart

would you like me to be your parent no i want to complain a little longer okay and so it is and you're allowed i know that sounds facetious and partly is but i mean you might need that you might need to speak about them more cry about them burn it off don't pretend it's gone don't try to avoid thinking about siblings that didn't act very nice don't try to avoid it own it talk about it quiet vomit it do what you need to do journal it do it all burning bowl ceremony on new year's eve

do what you can to healthily process this stuff out then you're going to find you've made room if you keep all that and try to bring the holy spirit or god into your life there's no room and you're being a control freak you're saying i only want so much at any given time and i want to decide that the wages of sin is death that's the old school that's the old testament law the wages of sin meaning because you're a sinner every human being the old testament tells us every human being is

a sinner and therefore that's why you die wow that's heavy stuff kind of harsh but yeah but this means that you know it's based on the laws of karma because you think you're flawed you're not an immortal being anymore immortal beings have to be of a divine nature as soon as you make your first mistake on planet earth and according to some traditions like in catholicism you're born with sin adam and eve i don't even know i never even met them and i'm stuck with their sin but this is

the tradition unless you know you're baptized that might give you a clean start if you're lucky if you die before you're baptized a whole culture guys a whole religion telling people your baby died before it was baptized it's going to help are you kidding me you should respond you're already there just telling me that children are going to go to hell tells me you're already there you're already in hell living like that thinking like that none of this is god's will so the wages of sin because we think we're

flawed not because of what you've done that's what we're programmed to think you know i used to think you were a wonderful child of mine but then you did that oh it broke my heart when you i remember i remember that fall for me my oldest child somebody came to the door and said your daughter and somebody else on the way home they were walking up the little street up the hill to the house and they they got a stop sign i guess and they shook it out of place and like broke it out of its hole whatever and and you

know they were like eight nine i i admit guys i sat there i didn't say anything to her but in my mind i felt heartbroken my perfect child which has nothing to do with her this is my projection she's so wonderful she's so you know and then i started seeing she started having other stuff going on this is stuff she came in with stuff whatever but she had stuff going on but for a moment i i felt heartbroken like shocked that that could happen everybody is going to fall off of the pillar you put them on because they don't even belong there

it's the pillar's a lie it's fake it's an illusion why do we put him there so that they'll fall why do we want to have that to happen so that we talk about them and not us what you should be doing instead of you let me down oh you're not the man i thought you were when i married you you should be talking about why you thought i was the man that you thought i was why your child needed to be straight a's see all of it's going to fall all false idols have to collapse because they're false i didn't

say they're bad you're you're bad they're just they're not even real but are you willing to let go of your past your programs your false idols every image you have of yourself the alcoholic or the recovered alcoholic the nice parent the parent that made mistakes they're all still masks they still all have to fall and that's why we learn to say i don't know but i'm willing to find out i love that little second part i don't know if i'm a good parent but i'm willing to find out who should you

be asking don't ask your children because if they want something now is the time they're going to cash in don't ask your children ask god i i don't know if i'm a good teacher i should ask people and get in a survey well that's fine you can do that but it's also worthwhile to ask god and the answer you're going to get is you are my beloved child in whom i am well pleased do you always believe that no you know i can prove that some of us go i have a coin i'm going to flip a coin or i'm

going to pull a tarot card god you know tell me what you'd want me to see today and what's the answer to this question you flip it and you get tempted to flip another one why because you doubt that that answer was good enough why do you put your brakes on when you drive by a cop who's giving a ticket because you suspect something's wrong with you that you're doing something wrong why do we err towards we that we're flawed why don't we air towards oh my god i'm living in the kingdom of

god i live in a state of love people will tell you well you know you know i remember my dad that's fine michael that's fine if you want to you know think like that but it's going to hurt you later so now the program's entering note to self don't be too happy because something's gonna you know pull the rug out and don't be do this don't be too trusting don't be and the world wants you to do that because it wants you to live in hell there is a kingdom of god you can't experience unless you're born again born

again means i have to let go of my programs and patterns our old self is crucified with jesus this is sounding so cool fundamental and dark right our old self is crucified with jesus so that the limited body of sin and guilt might be released at last that henceforth we should not serve such masters that's brilliant sounds a little traditional at first but this is just saying when you properly go through your crucifixions and your own personal tests we're no longer guided by the ego that's a very good thing

it goes on another quote to those who receive christ now it's receive christ not listen to christ receive christ to them he gave power to remember that they're children of god well that's pretty cool so i have to receive christ so you go to the catholic church body of christ amen you do that fundamental christians you go dip in a you know lake or whatever and you're born you know wow this is great receive christ means to put on the mind of christ it means to live it whether you want to call it krishna

consciousness or christ consciousness it means divinity back to the i am presence and don't swear that you are already there if you're still acting the way you used to act if you're putting on the mind of christ if you're living the christ life if you're born again it should start to change how you do things you might even still maintain some of the old patterns but they start fading you lose interest and sometimes it's really extreme there have been times phases in my life where i i can't even find an interest in

eating i can look at different foods and it's just not there i mean to eat it would be like forcing myself let's say to take a vitamin it's not like that tastes good or nourishes you just oh i guess i'll eat something there's times like that there's times when you guys have gone through feeling no sex no relationship no whatever it is that is just a period of time we're all gonna still because before enlightenment i chop wood and carry water and after enlightenment i still chop wood and carry water so it's a

phase you go through where you go god i just feel like no books i feel like no no sex no whatever it is that's just a phase you're going to end up coming back to doing those things but differently there are people that say you know i'm channeling the i am presence it's very beautiful they channel messages you know what's even more impressive is when they start living as though they are the i am not channeling the i am and that's not an easy task it should be easy but it's not easy because you're in a third dimensional

world that tells you every day that this is a limited mortal realm of death and limitation sickness buddha did not reach enlightenment by being hid away from sickness and death if you know that story he ended up finding out the rude awakening wait a minute what's that oh that's sick people what are sick people because nobody was allowed to be around him if they were sick so he never knew what sickness or death was but reaching enlightenment came by his having to own that stuff not hiding from your stuff

owning it there is a part of me that feels sick sometimes there is a part of me that's depressed sometimes owning it not integrated becoming it just owning it that's how i feel today i'm sad today and then choosing to come back to life even ebenezer scrooge had to choose to come back to life but notice how he said i'm sorry i get it now i do believe he had to repent so when we hear these concepts these stories the wages of sin is death it means karmically speaking because you think you're flawed you're going to not

just die you're going to live a life of limitation and death your finances are going to die someone you love is going to die it's in all realms but that's not the consciousness of christ in christ he's saying all things are born again the old rules were you're flawed and now you're going to have a life of limitation the new rule is you're not flawed and you can live and thrive how many minds can easily say oh i take door number two ready go boom and all of a sudden no more death no more sickness

it's a day at a time process that's why we heard that if you receive christ it means integrate those teachings you can't just hear them you have to receive him you have to integrate them another quote about half dozen why do you wait and procrastinate arise and be baptized and wash away the errors of your past calling in the name on the name of christ why wait so why would anybody in their right mind choose to procrastinate and say well you know i'm gonna give it about five years to you know gradually get on the spiritual

path honest to god when you taste that spiritual path without ego you're gonna go right for it the it's only the ego that's still addicted to pain and suffering and limitation that tries to keep you from wanting to go for it and some of you say no i have some tangible reasons i have this feeling that if i launch into the spiritual path i might because i have some examples friends of mine they don't even talk to some of their old friends good that's probably a good thing oh i don't want to do that meaning you're still

addicted to the way those old friends are with you you know the ones that come over to drink the ones that come over to get high well i'm not ready to give up getting stoned yet you don't have to give up anything just go for the spirit and it will help you decide with your will involved here your choice whether this works for you or not getting spiritual doesn't mean you lose anything of value and that's the key words anything of value see i just snuck it in under the radar you will lose some things but i'm not

supposed to tell you that because it scares you but you're only going to lose things that aren't important they're not really of value you just don't know when you're sleeping that they're not of value so don't listen to me weigh it in yourself and say how much do i want to hold on to old patterns when a couple says to me listen we need some counseling you know one of us cheated but what we agreed that we're just gonna drop that like it never happened i'm like that isn't gonna happen

that is not gonna happen oh no we've agreed didn't we honey yes we did yeah and they do this like oh right honey we've agreed we're not going to bring that up that's right honey and they do this little codependent weirdness and i'm like that is not going to happen as soon as this one goes into bad mood it's coming up you know i wouldn't be in a bad mood if you hadn't cheated you know it's gonna come back but what i would tell both parties including the one receiving the promise

both parties i would say okay if the person is tending to cheat and lie why are you with them well because i don't i think it was a one-time mistake if it was a one-time mistake you'll never bring it up again will you you make them commit end it or go for it but you cannot go for it with the old conversation you have to own you're allowed to own it cry puke do whatever you need to do get it out but if i were the person who cheated and you know when we're having the conversation i would say i truly am

sorry but i know that you're going to be tempted to see me that way now it's a program in your mind i am repentant but i refuse to allow you to hold that image of me because i already have a hard enough time letting go of that image of myself are you going to let go of that image of me and if it's anything shy of absolutely i'm done what some of us do is oh no no i have to live forever making it up to them what i've done see that's that's a hidden agenda of co-dependence that means i'm

flawed i'm going to use you to work that out i need to go forward as though i'm not flawed this was a mistake i get why i looked at why i can tell you what i can write it down for you you want to do a burning ball ceremony i'll bring it all out but after today it's done if your partner can't promise that no offense if you're getting uncomfortable partners out there but if if you can't swear to that i'm not telling you you're bad i'm telling you that you're going to live

that hell again and again why would you want them to keep doing that to you why would you want to do that to yourself why would you want to do that to your partner because you don't want to let them off the hook you want to hold them hostage that's not appropriate so somebody's got to step up and say moving forward here's where i'm at okay i've known people got into recovery wrote in their journals things about what their process was their spouses read the journal you know wow hard stuff

you did this you did this you know what i'm in recovery this is my personal process you're reading my past and telling me it's my present and my future see they're trying to arrest convict and sentence you that's not healthy stuff but if that's where you want to go and you want to condemn me like that i have a hard enough time condemning myself so this is enough i'm enough for me i'm not going to have you playing that role as well goodbye that's what i would do if i were you

i'm not saying always goodbye i said if that's where they want to keep you being born again you got to have freedom you got to have a chance to have a new life so the next one we are buried with him just like christ we're raised by the glory of the father and into a new life you know this means again that we're born into a limited reality for a while but born again you enter the world of unlimited if you're an artist you believe in limitation there's only so many colors in the color palette and

so on when you're an inspired artist there's no such thing as limitation i remember somebody playing flute a master you know great flute player traveling through town and people like wow listen to that and then one of our locals came up here and was playing flute and they were changing it wasn't just finger to whole finger at all they were altering the finger on the whole to kind of alter the tone of what's coming through the other master was like what is that it's called unlimited you try something

else you know you you just play and you try you heard like john playing sounds and animals and you know like almost like etheric atmosphere that's not supposed to be able to come through it's just a person with a mouth and a flu you're going to another level parenting to another level partnering to another level nursing to another level counseling to everything to another level you're born into a limited world that you're supposed to be finding limitless in and you will you're not going to go to

heaven and find limitlessness you have to actually experience some of it here by being born again what is born again mean again michael dying of the old self do your self inventory do your step work do whatever work it is the counseling that works for you to die of the old patterns talk them out you know move let's let's discuss them break them up move them let them dissipate just the way you would take a calcium deposit and use you know radio waves to break them up so that they're not a stone going through the

kidneys and so on when if you have a kidney stone they they can use waves to break them up it's like that use consciousness to break up patterns belief systems including neurons and cellular memories they're all just programs another one repent and be born again every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the release of sins and yet ye shall receive the gift of the holy spirit what that just said on a fundamental level is repent in the name of jesus christ and we hear that and go oh man fundamental

christian it sounds like repent in the name of jesus christ and you will receive the holy spirit what it means repent let go of the old self be born of the i am presence and you will know the holy spirit because when you die of the old and are birthed into a new self the holy spirit which is the mother is the one who's there birthing you into that new self you can't know the holy spirit divine mother if you're stuck in your old self in fact the old self is a stagnation not a life it's not expansive it's constrictive and

it's stagnation so even though there's fundamental wording to some of this that kind of triggers some of us be a master and hear what's under it you know hear the the real meaning be born again and all these wonderful words don't go born again i remember friends of mine you know you got to be born again or you're going to go to hell and all that heavy stuff again born again oh that's what happened when i went into the 12-step program that's technically a program of being born again it's a version of it

it's not using the name jesus christ but it is a level of being born again why does the name jesus christ have to be it doesn't have to be used but if you have the guts to use the name christ you're calling on your highest self to walk you through this process i wouldn't call on if i were you i wouldn't call on your deceased mother i wouldn't call on christmas wreaths go kneel before the door of your house oh beloved christmas wreath birth in me the why don't even look at the sun and ask

for it ask for the one that embodied all why are you looking at a christmas wreath oh it's round and it's got the symbolism of god go to god instead of the symbolism of god go to christ go to the i am presence within go all the way with everything if you can if you need to pause and say michael i heard you but i'm going christmas wreath on you do it if all you can do is kneel before the christmas wreaths or the golden calves or whatever great one of the things i most loved and respected in the past and present is in the

concept of of tantra real tantra not the hyper sexual tantra in some places but real tantra the tradition says there are no real there are no statues there are no things you like look at and worship which is fine to do i'm just saying here's an example of something i admire in that system is that what they tell you to do when you look for the divine instead of a statue or an altar of some kind look into the eyes of another human being and that's what a course in miracles tells you thousands of years after the

origins of tantra it takes you right back to that if you can't see the christ or god in other people your religion is off your spirituality is flawed because that's the goal if the goal isn't like well man i i'm so at one with all as long as nobody's around me that's missing the point god has now splintered into 8 billion people you want to know how you're doing with god how you doing with the 8 billion i think god is fine it's people that have the problem you see you just confessed in a sense you pretend to have

you know god in your heart and mind but people are an issue and they are an issue people are nutty but they're waiting for our forgiveness so they're not nutty anymore well i thought god was going to fix them really that's been billions of years and it hasn't happened so don't count on don't expect god because god's going you know funny thing i heard your prayers you wanted me to help fix them so i tuned in i did a session with him and i found no flaw i went looking and they were just divine

because god does tantra look in your eyes looking good to me pure as i created you we're like yep but look at the way they part their hair they don't even wear colors they're summer and they're wearing winter you know come on tell them something you know and it's fault finding and judgment and god's going oh that that's called mental illness and you have it you think there's others and then you project stuff onto others judge them condemn them and then pray to me to fix it i suggest you ask me to help heal your

eyes you know i'm glad you said that because i i've noticed i'm squinting more no not those eyes your perception your judgments being born again greatly includes releasing judgment being born again in a nutshell is this less of me and more of thee another in a nutshell version of it is i of my past have died and i found a new life i now not worship god i now see through the eyes of god i feel through the heart of god that's my intention constantly i don't expect that i get get it right and perfect every day but i

self-correct self-correct do it do it succeed succeed self-correct when i don't it's a process let's please take a few centering breaths ugh first tuning into anything you heard that made sense anything you didn't that didn't make sense didn't feel right just release it anything you heard that resonated sit and own it breathe it in as your consciousness give yourself a minute with that [Music] my

images of people and events that come to mind do you want to take them into the next year of your life [Music] you're allowed to let them fall away as effortlessly as possible they can fall away with a sigh or tears or thought let them fall away [Music] and in the distance we see what we call an oasis life greenery water answers to prayers [Music] you might notice you're speeding up your pace to get to that water as somebody would when they're thirsty just like the spiritual path we really do want the thirst of life to be quenched

move move go as promptly as you can get to the water jump in the water throw off your clothes throw off the past throw off masks and identity enjoy the water that's the new life [Music] if you don't drink in the water you're still thirsty you're just wet on the outside but still thirsty drink some water lay on the shore and sleep absorb the spiritual goodness that comes to your life the things that feed your soul [Music] there are times i've had goodness and i just sat there and didn't absorb it

[Music] i may have had a good moment with someone and didn't soak it in might have had a nicer person in my life than i gave credit for a boss a partner i get it now thank you thank you absorb thank you thank you a great spiritual book that turned me on i didn't just read it with my head i'm absorbing it wow that really fed my soul counselor i saw the 12-step group i found oh my god drink it in absorb it all the goodness you've ever had if you don't you won't know how to recognize and absorb goodness in the future

messages to other people just by my presence my being any of us i'm so grateful that i get to be amongst spiritual brothers and sisters breathing this in so it changes my day-to-day life and it does and it will the light of god surrounds us the love of god enfolds us the power of god protects us the presence of god watches over us wherever we go god is i am we are and so it is peace be with you happy holidays
