| $547It’s time to announce Michael Mirdad’s annual 3-Day Intensive on “Mastery & Healing.” After teaching this workshop once a year for 30 years, this will be the last time it will be offered in this format—as a weekend workshop. This incredible workshop is life-changing for those who have never taken it, and a wonderful tune-up for those who have. This workshop covers many of Michael Mirdad’s primary teachings in regards to creating a better life—in all areas of our life. You will discover how to get clearer guidance, how to develop greater healing skills, how to love and trust yourself, how to create fulfilling relationships, and how to live a life that reflects your higher self in mind, body, and soul. “Mastery & Healing” is a training for students and teachers of spirituality who are ready to learn how to manifest a spiritual, integrated, balanced, and prosperous life, as well as learning how to bring Divine Guidance into your daily life and activities.
Topics Include:
- Spiritual Mastery: Develop a life plan, enhance creativity, practice true forgiveness, awaken higher levels of consciousness, and open your heart center.
- Mental Mastery: Develop greater focus, learn effective meditation, and discover your soul’s purpose.
- Emotional Mastery: Develop psychic abilities, create fulfilling relationships, transform trauma, and learn advanced emotional healing techniques.
- Physical Mastery: Manifest greater prosperity, create healthy living through diet and exercise, learn to read the energy of the body, receive training in healing arts, and learn principles of sacred sexuality.

He made A Course In Miracles not only something I could understand, but concepts I could live by. His messages struck a deeper chord and something prompted me to call for a private session. Several hours later I was meeting with this relaxed, warm man who would become my teacher, healer, and friend. This session brought me a great distance in self-awareness, growth and healing. I finally realized what it feels like to fully be connected with the pulse of ‘God. I also realized just how manic my energy usually is and how much I prefer the feeling of peace and complete ‘Oneness. The rebirthing showed me that I sometimes use breath as a means to control my life, and when the breath was trying flow freely, I fought it every step of the way. Ironically, I want so much to connect freely with God, yet one of the easiest ways to do this is through breath and I keep holding mine. The Sufi dancing was fabulous. I don’t think my heart has ever been that open and full of joy. Journaling helped to realize that I’m afraid of opening myself up to others for fear of being judged as not good enough. I even had a dream wherein God showed to me the place in a dream. He showed me that was far away from home, I saw the green of the pine trees, I saw the lake, I saw the water. In my dream I asked questions: How I am going there? What should I do? God showed to me that was so easy to get there. After this dream I met Michael and I decided to go to the retreat. Being there was a beautiful dream, the warmth of the house, the freshness of the air, the pureness of the water, and the most important thing, I was surrounded with love! In the workshop, I went back to my childhood, feeling the same pain that I had at that time. I felt the pain for the absence of my dad and I lived again the hell of being in a dark room. But this time I could also feel safe and happy. I could feel God’s presence around the whole place. I enjoyed walking around the property, to be at the labyrinth, to be at the garden, and to hear the sound of the water. I enjoyed how everybody took such great care of each other, how they showed their unconditional love, and yet allowed each one of us to have our feelings. I also learned 1. Attending your workshop and being helped by you in the private session have changed my life dramatically. I’m no longer angry at males. That’s one good change. An even bigger change is this: Do you remember you told us in the workshop that sometimes in workshops, you noticed someone coming to you to hug you or shake hands with you, but they had a feeling like ‘I’m sorry such a trivial person like me is bothering you for a hug or handshake. In those cases, you said you would sometimes pull that person back towards you to shake their hand or hug them again, just to show that person that he or she was a valuable person enough to hug or shake hands again. Today while in the train on my way to school, I remembered your story above. In that moment I realized I could give love and be a healer in my own working place if I was conscious enough. While I’m teaching, when students are coming to me to talk about something or ask a question, by accepting them as a very valuable person and by cherishing moments with them, I too can be a healer. Before attending your workshop, I had been looking for a better way to be helpful teacher to my students. I thought I needed to learn some special way. However, I’ve realized, just giving love each moment makes big differences. But what made yours special to me was your absolute solid attitude that our relationship with God should always come first. Even though I practiced meditations I had learned in previous workshops, I felt something was wrong. Now I know that opening myself to God and always knowing He is with me changes everything. At first when you started to teach us, the way you were teaching irritated me because you seemed so certain. Do you remember, in your book ‘Creating Fulfilling Relationship, you are saying ‘we often discover that the very thing that we most like about a person is often the thing we also most dislike about them? In my case, what I disliked most about your workshop turned out to be the very thing that made your workshop special for me. It made me smile. I found that through all those years I had been angry at God and trying to turn my eyes away from Him, Jesus was always walking along with me and gently guiding me. That reminds me of the story of two disciples accompanying Jesus on their way to Emmaus. They didn’t recognize Him but later they found that it had been Jesus, and said to each other, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while he talked to us. I understand that some of the old patterns may come up in my life, may hook me but I now have a greater awareness and will not let these patterns rule me. This includes action steps such as morning and evening meditations which include calling on God’s divine presence to fill me with love and light and visualizing what that love and light will look like in my life on that day, tracking exercises to help me purge old patterns of ego reaction at the same time increasing my self awareness, a commitment to continuing to seek out healing therapies to aid in the dismantling of my past and a renewed respect for Christ consciousness. The deep healing on all levels€“emotionally, physically and spiritually in such a short period of time was incredible. Since more than one thing cannot occupy a space; it made so much sense for us to clear out the blocks, release them, make peace with them and fill up with what was intended . . . God. We helped and supported each other, both with learning actual techniques for our healer’s ‘toolbox, as well as learning to trust our own guidance as healers. Every day was just the right balance of going to the edge and coming back stronger, cleaner, and clearer. It’s impossible to articulate the depths of joy and sadness and how quickly the energy can be shifted from that place of confusion and hopelessness to compassion for self and others, even those we struggle with, when our intention matches our willingness and ability to trust. I finally feel like I can live the life I came here for. I am free from resentments, jealousies, judgments, and the tendency to perpetuate old patterns through traumatizing, neglecting, and sacrificing myself. Things that used to occupy my mind would be difficult to conjure up now. The Reiki, the re-birth and resurrection, our meditation around the bonfire, the tracking exercises, Kundalini yoga, bodywork, EFT, acupressure, and massage . . . there was such a great variety and combination of healing modalities as well as hands-on learning. I love the energy at The Avalon Retreat Center! The creek, the woods, the labyrinth, landscaping, and fountains all lend to a peaceful, grounding and magical environment perfect for the workshops. Highlights of the course work for me include learning acupressure, a deeper understanding of cranio-sacral therapy, and increased understanding and application of tracking exercises. The group seemed to blend so easily together. As always, Michael conducted the workshop with just the right amount of balance, some difficult, challenging moments (namely the emotional harvesting) and some wonderful, soft moments (massages). Again, I am amazed at the amount of ground we cover is such a short period of time. Surely we were there for several weeks, not just several days. I found all of the exercises extremely helpful in the healing process. As far as the bioenergetics exercises, I found them to be very effective . . . not always enjoyable , but very effective.
